The endurance required for motherhood is unimaginable. How often have we said to each other,

“I don’t know how you do it all?”

Except we do.

We are actually the only ones, who know exactly how we do it all.

In our current reality, our tape of being a parent, this version of ourselves, is playing out much differently than the one we pictured. Luckily, we made a commitment to motherhood as our long-game. It is forever. Therefore, we can handle a marathon, that was once a sprint. It’s always been up to us to be prepared—when have we ever left home without a snack in our giant Mary-Poppin’s diaper bag? Except, we have nowhere to go.

How do you manage a passage of time, when it feels like our lives have been put on hold?

How long can we keep this pace?
As mothers, our answer will always be, as long as we have to.
